The Make-A-Wish Foundation® is the exclusive charity beneficiary of the 1Day Relay. We encourage your Relay team to fundraise and/or donate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation today! ABOUT THE MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION®: The Make-A-Wish Foundation® grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Make-A-Wish is the largest wish-granting charity in the world, with 65 chapters in the United States and its territories and 33 international affiliates on five continents. It started on April 29, 1980, when a seven-year-old boy from Phoenix, Arizona named Chris Greicius realized his wish to become a police officer. Many of those responsible for fulfilling Chris' wish wanted to do the same for other children with life-threatening medial conditions.
