Registration - How It Works
- Registration closes two weeks prior to the race date.
- One person must be designated as the team captain.
- The team captain must set-up the team and pay the entire team registration.
- Each member of the team will need to register online two weeks before the race date to be eligible to participant.
- Participants must be at least 18 years old on the race date to participate.
- Each team is required to have a minimum of 4 team members (or 2, if you're registering an Ultra team) but may have as many as 6 .
- Each member of the team must pick up their packet at least 30 minutes prior to their team's start time and most attend the mandatory pre-race safety meeting as a team.
- Photo IDs are required for packet pick-up.
- Race day registration is not available.
- All entries are non-refundable.

Team Captain Registration Process:
The team captain is responsible for registering first, creating the team name and paying the full team entry fee.
- Click on the "Register Online" button on the 1Day Relay website.
- Click on "Register Now."
- Log in with your preexisting Active.com account or set up a new account. Team captains must have an account so they can manage their team through the team center.
- Select the Team Captain category.
- Select your team category: All-Men, All Women, Mixed.
- Create your team name (be creative).
- Create a team password – optional.
- Complete all required individual information (First Name, Last Name, Gender, Etc.) You are registering yourself at the same time you register the team.
- Complete your billing information
- Agree to the waiver and click "Continue".
- Enter credit card information and click "Complete Purchase".
- Print out your confirmation receipt which will appear on the screen.
- Invite team member to register and provide them with the team name and password. You must have a minimum of 4 members (or 2, if you're registering an Ultra team) but no more than 6 members.

Inviting Team Members
- Team captains can manage their team and invite potential team member to join from their team center.
Team Members – Joining an existing team
Each runner must individually register to become a team member.
TEAM MEMBERS
- Each member who is notified that their team has been created can go to 1DayRelay.com and click on the "Register Online" button.
- Once on the main registration page click the "Register Now" button.
- Select the "Team Member" category to join your team.
- Select your team from the drop down menu, enter password, complete personal information and submit your entry. (no payment required for members – team members will pay their portion of the registration fee directly to the team captain, no online payment will be collect during team member registration )
